Bionic Commando

2009's sequel to the classic game, developed by Capcom/Grin. I composed and recorded a piano arrangement based on the original theme.

Wanted: Weapons of Fate

Wanted is a third-person shooter based on the movie of the same name, developed by Grin in coproduction with Universal. I worked as a Sound Designer and was in charge of creating and implementing many of the sounds you'll hear in game, including interface, ambiences and voices.

Poms

POM is short for Petit Objet Musical, that is, a Little Musical Object. These pieces are composed so that the sound itself is the main aspect to be considered, rather than the way it evolves over time.

Each Pom is a sound landscape or "living sculpture", on which even though the inner material is constantly changing, the overall sensation is that of a uniform, distinct sound. The temporal dimension of the piece is then almost irrelevant, as it is not intended to be listened for a particular amount of time. I record typically two to three minutes as to get a detailed image of all the nuances in the sound, but these are only windows into conceptually infinite pieces.

Glest

Glest is a freeware 3D RTS game for which I made all music, sound and voice work. The game was awarded First Prize in "Playstation Art Futura Video Game Design Award", sponsored by Sony.

Glest is available in both windows and linux versions, the latter bundled with the official SUSE distribution, and has been distributed with many computer magazines worldwide.

Arguments

Arguments is an album in which I tried to confront contrasting elements, mixing electronic synth sounds with acoustic instruments such as as mandolins, bouzoukis or pipes. At the same time, I explored the contrasts between those tracks which I conceived as a tribute to the "classic" electronic bands of the seventies, and those which show my evolution towards more contemporary styles.

El Cid

Coproduced by Filmax and Argos Labs, El Cid was an adventure game based on the animation movie of the same name. Except for vo, which I edited but didn't record, I did all music and sound work. The image for the cutscenes below belongs to the movie, but voices, sound and music are original to the game.
